DSP Appreciation
Sharing the Care
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) deliver excellent care every day. We want to bring awareness to their amazing work. Sharing the Care is an ongoing effort to celebrate DSPs. Throughout the year, we recognize our DSPs with appreciation activities.
Celebrating DSPs
DSPs provide needed services for older adults and individuals with disabilities to maintain independence at home and in the community. Caregiving is often challenging work that is not recognized. We support DSPs and their incredible work across the country.
To show our appreciation, we:
- Participate in September’s Direct Support Professional Recognition Week to share thanks and celebrate DSPs.
- Support the American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) Direct Support
- Professional of the Year Awards and invite clients to nominate their DSPs.
- Build ongoing DSP appreciation through Sharing the Care activities.
